Job vacancies 100% honest?

 When applying for a job vacancy, the data that are most altered in a CV are: languages, work experiences, and sometimes even age.

Having unoccupied jobs turns out to be a dilemma for the Human Resources area, and it is that in the search for candidates, in the recruitment and selection process, one can fall into despair because of having to cover the place at any cost.


In our country the resignation of a Finance Director impacts up to 5% the annual income of an organization by not having a change in a period of two to three months.





What happens is that on many occasions, headhunters are dazzled by the skills that job vacancies write in their Curriculum Vitae (CV) and when the time comes to put that bunch of qualities into practice it turns out that it was all a fraud.

Currently, what happens is that the people in charge of selecting Human Capital are showing some concern about the exponential increase of two factors:

  1. The large amount of false or misrepresented information in CVs. They have noticed that the data that are most altered are: the level of knowledge of a language, work experiences, and sometimes even age.
  2. The lack of commitment, formality and seriousness during the selection process. Job vacancies, especially the younger ones, do not attend the interviews, nor do they notify if they are no longer interested, and even once they are selected, they give up at the last minute.

Altering the main data can have serious consequences in working life because it reduces credibility. It is better to be honest, and in case of not mastering the secondary skills it is better to say so, since these activities, with time and experience, can be acquired.
